Time to Begin Blogging!

Now that my website is complete and it’s in an O&M mode I can finally start blogging. There are several topics to blog about such as diet & nutrition, training, supplements, the Marine Corps, bodybuilding, etc… Lately, many people have been asking me to talk about everything I’ve done, everything I am doing and everything I plan on doing down the road. Is there anything specific you all would like to hear about? This will help me establish a good starting point. Since I do this in my free time, I occasionally get writer’s block so I may need people to nudge me every now and then to get my fingers moving on the keyboard. When I start typing I fall into the groove and it’s effortless. However, with everything going on right now it’s very easy to become sidetracked with other issues so I want to make sure I’m dedicating some time to communicate with everyone.

I’d like to reiterate the appreciation I have for everyone who’s been following and supporting me over the years. Things seem to finally be looking up!

Best,
Aaron

    Aaron,

Believe it or not the best way to blog is to blog for yourself. Use your blog as a way to share your thoughts on what you’re doing and why. Write for yourself and let us enjoy what you have to say and share. Share that fire that’s burning inside of you, the source of your passion(s) and what inspires you. Break down your training and routines and don’t be scared to talk about your off days (if and when they occur). But at the end of the day, the only way to get blogging and over writer’s block is to write from your heart.

You can certainly get started by describing a basic day/week for you in Iraq. Many people who will come read your blog have no idea what 16-18 hour days are like, what the chowhall challenges are…or what you have to go through just to make it to the gym.

    Share your world!!

Hey hey!! I agree with everything Ann says, but another good tip for a “blogging block” is to post a picture and then tell the story behind it. It may be of you, may be your surroundings, may be someone who inspires you … anything. Good luck … I look forward to reading! :)

So I read this article that said the fastest way to lost weight exercising was splitting up the cardio to 20 min in am and 20 min in the pm 6 days a week… Along with 2-3 days strength training. What do you think? I need to start small though. I need tips…. Love u Big!

Thanks! It’s been hard and I’m looking forward to moving on. The weight, I’d say about 185 lbs if I guessed a max.

Look forward to seeing you too!
